Petzl Attache Bar

The Petzl Attache Bar is comprised of the Attache locking carabiner and a removable unidirectional Bar. When the Attache is used with the Bar it prevents cross-loading by isolating the belay loop an belay device in different sections of the carabiner. The Bar also prevents accidental opening of the carabiner without first removing the Bar. These extra safety benefits plus the rounded stock basket allow for ease of use with friction based belay devices or a munter hitch.

Features:
Unidirectional ATTACHE carabiner with BAR: 
- Removable BAR orients the carabiner to load the major axis for ease when belaying or using ropes for glacier travel 
- BAR cannot be closed if the gate is not fully locked, limiting the risk of user error
- Carabiner gate cannot be accidentally unlocked when BAR is installed in the closed position
