Grivel G Zero

The Grivel G Zero is a very light ice axe for classical alpinism, glacier walking and easy climbing. The aluminium shaft construction and one piece head made of steel, with a shovel (adze), provides more strength for less weight. The neutral shape and ergonomic design means less stress on your hands, wrists, and forearms even after hours of climbing. The G Zero comes with a blade cover that is removable so you can grip the head firmly for use as a piolet when walking, because it insulates the metal it protects your hands from the cold metal. Finally the axe also comes with a leash attached to keep it close on hand and looped to the wrist to avoid dropping it, a rubber tip protector on the end of the leash is a nice additional touch.
