The Climbing Technology Crocodile belay device is a multi-use belay device ideal for tough rescue operations and abseils. The Climbing Technology Crocodile belay device is composed of hot forged light alloy and has two wide vertical slots for ultimate rope manoeuvrability whether you are attaching the lanyard for abseiling, carrying out various rope maneuvers or aiding in difficult rescue operations.The nature of the design of this belay device keeps the ropes parallel and separated during abseils, and permits independent recovery and self-locking of up to two seconding climbers. In terms of rescue missions, this is a reliable device, exceptional in the most tricky of rescues involving dynamic or static ropes with diameters of up to 12mm, or when lowering loads. A lightweight yet versatile belay device, the Crocodile is compatible with single dynamic ropes, half ropes, dynamic twin and static ropes.
