Widely used on the most famous, inspiring climbs worldwide for decades, the Black Diamond Raven Ice Axe is now redesigned, lighter, and features an updated investment-cast, stainless steel head which has been ergonomically improved for increased comfort when walking. With its new adze geometry, the Raven Ice Axe provides more secure placements along with efficient chopping, while the revamped spike provides improved grip and better plunge ability. Alongside this, the shaft has been improved with a trapezoidal cross-section making it more comfortable with better grip. All good stuff!
