The HiLight Tent from Black Diamond is a spacious for one or a cozy for 2 fast-and-light bivy-style mountain tent for trekking and below treeline camping. Very light and strong, resistant to gusts and storms. The design is single wall for weight saving and two poles for full four-season strength, with a short third pole to give extra headroom and a drip-free awning to shelter under. Set up is quick and simple.
The HiLight sports a huge door that makes up the entire side of the tent, complete with a mesh screen, which really increases the space you feel in this tent and giving spectacular views. The walls are steep to shed water and snow and maximise space and it has an asymmetric design with one end being much wider than the other so both people can sleep with their heads at the same end, great on sloping ground. It has excellent ventilation for a lightweight trekking tent, with a manifold that draws out stale air and moisture. There are two interior mesh pockets toorganise small items and storage space that can be expanded for gear with the Firstlight Vestibule. Made of super lightweight and ultra compressible high tenacity 30 Denier poly fabric for durable strength and no sag when wet, plus 100% taped seams for full waterproofing. The guylines are made from Dyneema for high strength to weight ratio that will not stretch when wet, and with a durable polyester sheath.
