Black Diamond HiLight 2P Tent

The HiLight Tent from Black Diamond is a spacious for one or a cozy for 2 fast-and-light style, mountain tent that has been given a redesign for 2019. Very light and strong, resistant to gusts and storms the more live-in-able than it's cousin the FirstLight tent. The design is single wall for weight saving with two poles for full four-season strength, plus a short third pole to create extra headroom and a drip-free awning to shelter under. Set up is quick and simple. The HiLight sports a huge door that makes up the entire side of the tent, complete with a mesh screen, which really increases the space you feel in this tent and giving spectacular views. The walls are steep to shed water and snow and maximise space and it has an asymmetric design with one end being much wider than the other so both people can sleep with their heads at the same end, great if the ground is sloping. For a lightweight trekking tent, it has excellent ventilation, with a manifold that draws out stale air and moisture, maintaining warmth but preventing overheating. It has two interior mesh pockets and storage space can be expanded for gear with the Firstlight Vestibule. Made of super lightweight and ultra compressible high tenacity 30 Denier poly fabric for durable strength and no sag when wet, plus 100% taped seams for full waterproofing. Guylines are made from Dyneema for high strength to weight ratio that will not stretch when wet, and with a durable polyester sheath.
