The Distance 8 Backpack uses vest-inspired suspension system for running, and a unique set of features that allows you to carry the gear you need while moving fast through the mountains.

Built using UHMWP 10x Ripstop Yarns—the same material used in lightweight climbing equipment. The shoulder strap harness system utilizes Stitch-less Edge Taping Technology—meaning the shoulder strap edge binding is fully edge taped instead of sewn, which allows for superior comfort, movement, and weight reduction. There are two flask pockets and a Deploy pocket to stash the BD Deploy Wind Shell upfront. The pack portion of the Distance includes a quick Blitz-style main opening with a stash pocket to tuck away essentials, with a mesh divider for a bladder or other essentials. On the pack’s exterior, the Distance 15 includes dual piolet/ice axe holsters, and double Z-Pole quiver sleeves to stash your trekking poles. Dual front stretch pockets are an extra place to stash food or gear.
