Black Diamond ATC-Alpine Guide

The ATC-Alpine Guide represents a more compact and remarkably light version of Black Diamond's award-winning belay/rappel device, the ATC Guide. Engineered to accommodate smaller rope diameters typical in ice climbing and alpine adventures, it's optimized for ropes between 8.1 and 8.5 millimeters but functions flawlessly with ropes ranging from 6.9 to 9mm. Weighing only 73 grams, it's a simple, durable, and ultra-light solution compared to the ATC Guide's 80g.

Thanks to its oval-shaped anchor-hole, handling in guide mode is seamless, facilitating smooth rope feeding and pulling. Just like its counterpart, the ATC-Alpine Guide allows for belaying one or two seconds, enables auto-block release with a small carabiner, and offers multiple friction modes for optimal stopping power during lowering or rappelling. Crafted specifically for mountain environments.
