Grivel North Machine Carbon

The Grivel North Machine Carbon Ice is a lightweight carbon-fibre ice axe that's designed for technical ice and alpine terrain. The shaft is made from a carbon composite, which Grivel say offers no compromise over quality due to a special reinforcement and orientation of the fibres, to allow for greater strength and rigidity whilst also reducing weight. It also features Grivel's ergonomic G-Bone shaft, which improves handling across the whole length of the axe's shaft, and the Vario system Ice Plus Blade which is fine-tuned to alpine and ice conditions. Available with modularly interchangeable shovel (Adze) or hammer, compatible with Ice Vario, Cascade Vario, Mix Vario and Dry Vario.
