Grivel Magic Ring

The Grivel Magic Ring is a super-light, simple Prusik sling that does not need a carabiner. Consisting of a 6mm aramid cord (with a double sheath for extra durability) and a hot-forged aluminium toggle to create a self-locking knot for rappelling, ascending and self-rescue.
One end of the loop girth hitches onto your harness, the other end wraps around the rope to form a Prusik, then the metal toggle jams the cord so it cannot undo, without the need for a carabiner, reducing weight and faff. Also doubles as a sling if needed.
