DMM Alpha Trad Carabiner

The Alpha is an all-round carabiner that oozes versatility and can be used across trad, sport, or winter climbing. Its full-size gives ease of handling, whilst its I-Beam construction and wire gate result in its low weight. Whether you're mountaineering in alpine conditions or are on a trad all-dayer, the Alpha Trad Carabiner offers everything you could possibly need for a biner during such an escapade. It's wire-gate ensures the biner does not freeze and makes for easy, snag-free clipping, whilst the deep rope basket keeps the rope in the optimum position. The Alpha's I-Beam construction allows the biner to be lighter without compromising strength. This is achieved through hot forging, a process that allows metal to be made into complex shapes that improve functionality. Available in multiple colours, to help when colour-coordinating your rack.
