The Wild Country Helium clean wire is a top quality wiregate designed for elite climbers everywhere. It has the ultimate combination of extreme lightweight, high strength and a 'Clean-wire' no hook nose. The Helium 3.0 is the updated version of the classic carabiner with an updated snag-free, clean-nose design.
When the Helium concept was initially launched a major focus was to make a wire gate but with none of the traditional drawbacks a wire has; that they can hook up on bolts or wires, can unclip more easily than snap gates, and are susceptible to opening if lying against the rock. The solution was the 'Clean-wire' hooded nose and the new flat-wire gate. This ensures the gate is covered within the nose, preventing all the traditional wire gate problems from occuring.
