Tendon Ambition - 10.2mm TeFIX Complete Shield

A new version of the versatile and robust Ambition 10.2 climbing rope, now comes with TeFIX® complete shield technology making it even more versatile and durable than its predecessor. This technology bonds the core of the sheath and the rope together, eliminating sheath slippage and improving handling. Tendon achieved this by adding special, flexible, and strong material between core and sheath, providing a far superior lifespan and better handling.
Featuring Tendon's complete shield, the Ambition 10.2 TeFIX Complete Shield offers maximum protection against water and abrasion. Tendon do this by using the new progressive NANOTECHNOLOGY method. Tiny particles of TEFLON®Eco are applied to the rope sheath and core and make a film of an almost impermeable protective layer. The rope fibers are then protected against dust and water which would otherwise cause harm to the rope's construction.
Alongside this, the Ambition's Simple Braid System makes this rope supple for its diameter, whilst also providing a work-horse width that will see you through vertical mile after vertical mile.
