This sizing advice is based on two pairs of brand new shoes. Leather shoes tend to stretch
more than synthetic shoes. When switching from synthetic to leather you may want to select a smaller size.
The Scarpa Vapour S are a hybrid slipper style shoe. The velcro strap can be sinched down to secure your heel on powerful heel hooks, and removed when you want a less intense fit during long training sessions. This shoe is a perfect all-rounder, with Vibram XS Grip 2 that allows you to smear on sloped volumes, and edge on credit card crimps! This rubber is used in tandem with M50 in the toepatch - an even softer rubber compound. This allows your toehooks to grab the most frictionless aretes with ease.
The Vapour S Women's is also easy to be resoled, which will save you from breaking in a new pair, and a bit of cash!
