The Patagonia Men's R1 Air Crew has an open knit zigzag structure making it extremely warm but more breathable than other technical fleeces on the market, for high output activities in cold conditions. Whether you are trail running, climbing, or backcountry ski touring, the R1 Air will keep you comfortable when you are really heating up. It dries very fast, wicks moisture, and holds in warmth as part of a layering system, even when wet. Made using a hollow core yarn, the R1 Air crew is lightweight and packable, and the slim fit keeps bulk to a minimum under outer layers. A single, low profile zippered chest pocket for essentials keeps things simple. It is also a lot more cozy than the original R1, with a fuzzy outer as well as inner, feels like a hybrid between the synchilla fleece and the technical R1. Not only is it warmer and more breathable, the style looks great on and off the mountains, and with HeiQ® Fresh durable odor control, you can keep wearing it once the day's epic is over in those packed mountain bars without fear of stinking up the place. All materials are 100% recycled, bluesign® approved, and Fair Trade sewn.
