The La Sportiva Theory is an evolution of the species, its massively adaptable: its both super soft and sensitive while being powerful on small edges at the same time. It's a high-performance indoor climbing specialist.
La Sportiva has used Vibram® XS Grip2 for maximum friction; there is no midsole to make the shoe softer and more adaptable. They have even differentiated thickness at the toes for better sensitivity. The Theory uses D-Tech™ construction to wrap the sole sideways around the sides of the shoe for great No-Edge feel on the sides but maintaining the edge on the front of the shoe for full power on small holds. The toe has is covered in rubber but it thin and soft for better responsiveness in tooks and heel follows though with a reduced volume allows for maximum precision on heel hooks. It's designed to get the most rubber contact with the holds.
