Beal Opera 8.5mm Unicore - Dry Cover

The Beal Opera 8.5mm - Dry Cover is a high end triple rated sport climbing rope, which means it can be used as a single, half and twin rope. At 48g/m it is the thinnest and lightest single rope on the market, perfect for when every gram matters. The Thermo Fluid treatment stabilises the strands so the rope has a compact weave with a supple feel and the Dry Cover reduces water absorption and dirt ingress to increase its life span and keep the weight down in wet conditions. The Opera is made with a Unicore construction which bonds the sheath to the core, in the event of the rope being cut this means that the sheath will not slip.
