Five-Ten Quantum VCS Climbing Shoe

Exactly the same as the regular Quantum but with a velcro closure system and extra toe rubber. Being easier to take on and off, softer, and better for toe hooking, the Five Ten Quantum VCS lends itself to bouldering and technical, overhanging climbing more so than its big brother, so if you're looking for a performance bouldering shoe with lots of comfort and support, this will be the better option.

The Quantum design was developed by the Huber brothers, Alex and Thomas, to create an all-round performance shoe that performs particularly well on long, hard routes, without being too uncomfortable. The last has an aggressive downturn to suit overhanging climbing, but with a wider fit that allows the foot to sit in a more natural position, it can be worn for longer periods of time. In addition, the stiff midsole will support the foot on longer climbs. The synthetic upper will minimise stretch, and Ariaprene, unlike, neoprene is resistant to odours whilst still being very moisture absorbent.
