FIXE Climbing Alien Revolution Hybrid Cam - Double Sling

The Alien Revolution Hybrid is a feat of design and workmanship. Fixe Hardware and Alien cams have taken from decades of innovation and now release their third generation of Revolution cams that are based on the original cams that Favid Wagoner designed back in 1985.
Incorporating the original designs, strengths, and versatilities. The Revolution Hybrid features relatively soft lobes, resulting in a better purchase on the rock, an unbeatable rock bite, and heightened security.
With this version of the Revolution, Alien have been able to reduce the weight of the cam drastically, due to its spring mechanism and cam lobes, the head of the cam is much smaller and more versatile fitting into far smaller cracks and crevices. Any part of the cam that will be put up against the most abuse has been stress tested and made of robust steel whilst the lobes and trigger are made of light but solid aluminum.
The geometry of the cam has been improved, it's flexible stem gives the movement and robustness that Alien cams are renowned for and reduces contact with the rock (apart from the lobes of course!)
The main difference with the hybrid version is the difference sized lobes on opposing sides of the cam. These work better in flared cracks or cracks with different proportions and characteristics. A longer pull makes it easier for whoever is seconding to retrieve the cams making for a better day out all round.
Its double Dyneema sling means you do not need to carry extra's, meaning a lighter rack, less faff, and an elongated anchor point. The Revolution Hybrid also boasts an ergonomic strap that is coated with durable rubber, which is then colour coded for ease of selection. Repairable pins give the option of expanding your cam's lifespan dramatically.
