Black Diamond Sabretooth Crampon

The Black Diamond Sabretooth is widely regarded as BD's best all-around crampon, suitable for Denali ascents and climbs in Ouray alike. Crafted with a lightweight stainless steel design, it boasts versatility across various terrains. The horizontal frontpoints offer stability in snow, penetrate alpine ice, excel on waterfall ice, and secure rock edges. Secondary points ensure a stable platform with shear resistance for control in mushy conditions, while serrated sub-points grip firmly during weight transitions. Its stainless steel construction prevents rusting and avoids environmentally toxic coatings.

The Sabretooth comes in two versions: the Pro version, equipped with a steel clip for boots designed to accommodate crampons, and the Clip version, featuring a flexible toe strap for boots lacking a toe welt.
