A bomber, ultra-durable helmet with added coverage on both the sides and back, alongside MIPS technology, the Black Diamond Capitan Helmet- MIPS maintains a sleek, cradle fit for all-day comfort and a great look.

With its Multidirectional Impact Protection System technology, the Capitan Helmet- MIPS is designed to protect against the rotational motion (or kinematics) transmitted to the brain from angled impacts to the head. Thanks to this added protection system, the Capitan Helmet- MIPS is proven to reduce the rotational violence to the brain by absorbing and redirecting oblique impacts to the helmet.

Boasting a 2-piece ABS shell construction, the Black Diamond Capitan Helmet- MIPS is constructed of a combination of EPP foam and EPS foam puck, meeting proposed UIAA back and side protection requirements. The Capitan's vents supply breathability in hot temperatures, whilst the low-profile suspension system provides a bespoke fit.
